In the past two weeks I’ve written more than I have in a very very long time and yet posted none of it. Great, introspective, sincere, honest, heartbreaking (at times), funny as all shit (at others), thought provoking stuff, too. I wonder if any of you are as amused by that as I am.

Although I don't know you, there's something about your posts both here (and at another blog) that warms my heart and makes me feel proud and peaceful--as a black mother.
